Harry Whittington, better known as "the guy Dick Cheney shot in the face," was released from the hospital today and gave a brief statement, including the sentence:

"My family and I are deeply sorry for all that Vice President Cheney and his family have had to go through this week."





In an unrelated story, Mary Jo Buttafuoco issued a public apology to Amy Fisher for all the trouble she caused her.
