fury and irony
Word has been all over the news today that the two kidnapped American servicemen were found dead, killed "in a barbaric way."
That would presumably be in a different fashion than the more cultured and genteel methods of killing used by our own armed forces.
Talking-points droids like Noron O'Donnell have expressed their outrage. "How disgusting is that?" moaned Noron on "Hardball." Apparently when we torture and kill brown people, that is a compassionate action that we undertake out of the goodness of our hearts in order to help liberate them, but when they provide their retribution, it is an act of uncivilized heathens.
We have lost this war, not that we ever had a chance to win it in the first place.
Hasn't ANYBODY read "Dune?".
