third time's the charm
The media has been stumbling all over itself to proclaim John McCain's "Iran is training Al Qaeda and sending them into Iraq" moment that hit the news yesterday as nothing more than a fumble by a tired and jet-lagged campaigner, a little moment of forgetfulness that could happen to anybody.
That could happen to anybody three times in twenty-four hours, that is.
When something happens the first time, it's an accident.
When it happens the second time, it's horrible bad luck.
When the same thing happens the third time, it's a plan.
That could happen to anybody three times in twenty-four hours, that is.

When it happens the second time, it's horrible bad luck.
When the same thing happens the third time, it's a plan.
