four thousand dollars

According to CNN, the current total cost for the Blunder in Baghdad is 1.2 trillion dollars, which includes all of the coming costs for equipment repair and replacement that will be necessary. That means that the government has expended four thousand dollars for each and every person of the three hundred million residents of the United States.

That also factors out to an expenditure of forty-six thousand dollars for each individual in the entire country of Iraq.

And it's nowhere near over yet. Every month is still generating over eight billion dollars additional spending, and the Bush/McCain/Lieberman "surge" is going to drive the still higher.

Untold billions of these dollars already spent are entirely unaccounted for.

Do you really think we can afford to extend this administration the benefit of any more doubts?
