a follow-up, please?

I'd also like for somebody to explain to me why it is that in order to help "heal" the divisions in the country of Iraq, it was urgent that Saddam Hussein be publicly lynched in circumstances that echo KKK murders from the twentieth century, while to heal the divisions in the United States that we need to avoid "playing the blame game" in favor of "bipartisanship" (which was maliciously withheld from the liberal majority of this country for the last six years) and for "forgiveness" and "moving forward?" Is there any reason why seeing the members of this administration dancing the Spandau ballet for their crimes wouldn't be as effective here as it was held to be in Iraq?
