The folks at CNN might want to look at that picture a little closer. While it may appear that Hastert and Boehner and Reynolds and the rest of the scoundrels are "standing together," it's just a trick of perception, like the vase that turns into the two profiles facing each other.

They look that way because the whole group of them has been backed into a corner.
