Today's pedogate news is that Mark Foley has put himself into a treatment center for alcoholism and "related behavioral problems" and that his substance issue is what caused him to try(?) to seduce young male pages and to exchange graphic and suggestive internet messages with them.

I'm stunned I didn't figure this out on my own. After all, every heterosexual male out there knows just how tempting sixteen-year-old boys with "cute little butt(s)" are when you've got a good alcohol buzz on. That's why these red-blooded Republican he-men want laws against that sort of thing, to save virile American men from themselves.
