The Defense Department has announced that it will keep our military presence in Iraq at about the same number of 140,000 for the next two years. If my math is right, this means that we are already committed to an occupation lasting at least four years at about a hundred billion dollars per year. This proof of the blatant dishonesty of our present government is courtesy of our president and his administration, folks. How can there still be any doubt that we were lied to?
