Joe Lieberman is a trusting soul. One with a short memory. Joe has been mentioned as a potential head of the Fatherland Security department. Good idea, Joe, go ahead and take it. Do you seriously think the Republican party, and specifically the Bush administration, are going to put a Democrat in any kind of position of power without an ulterior motive or two? Joe, there will be another attack on the United States in the next four years, and if you are the department boss, you take the fall and the Republicans once again will get a free pass for their own incompetence by distracting the idiot public with the loud and repetitious screech that a DEMOCRAT permitted the attack to happen. Take the job and you can kiss your career and any respect you have accrued over the years goodbye, Joe.
