I went out and fed her, and stayed by the bowl. She sidled over and started eating and pretty much ignored me, so I reached down and lightly ran the tip of my finger a few inches down her spine from the back of her head to between her shoulder blades (that sounds like it should have started with "Dear Penthouse" didn't it?) and she lifted her head, gave me a dirty look, and went back to eating. So, I did it again. This time she gave me a dirty look AND mildly hissed at me, and then went back to eating again. I didn't press it any further. Next time...
