it's not a lie if it gets you elected

"I would work with our friends in OPEC to convince them to open up the spigot, to increase the supply, use the capital that my administration will earn, with the Kuwaitis or the Saudis, and convince them to open up the spigot." - George W. Bush, June 27, 2000

Impeach the bastard and make him dance at the end of a rope for treason.

I'll reiterate:

Greg Palast was right...the war in Iraq was launched to STOP the flow of oil--to drive UP prices and profits for the oil industry.

It's working.

I said it back when I started this blog, if you look at the Bush administration's putative failures as planned and intentional successes on their part, the last seven years suddenly makes sense. If you think that they were trying to do the best things for the country instead of for themselves and their cronies, the last seven years make no sense at all. NOBODY could be that incompetent. It's a great example of Ockham's Razor, which states that the least complicated hypothesis has the greatest probability of being correct.
