the Spitzer distraction

This looks like the first skirmish in the media immunization of Wall Street and the banking industry for their part in the looming economic meltdown. The big clue is it's "federal prosecutors" who have the evidence against Gov. Spitzer. Goodness knows we have no reason to suspect the Judicial branch of engaging in partisan witch hunts. The news readers are already starting to show their shock that this man who was so hard on the stock barons should be determined to have been frolicking with call girls. I mean, how can we possibly trust his prosecutorial integrity about such an entirely unrelated topic now, right?
