"March 28 (Bloomberg) -- Circuit City Stores Inc., the second-largest U.S. electronics retailer after Best Buy Co., fired 3,400 of its highest-paid sales people and will hire replacements willing to work for less.
The company said its eliminating jobs that paid 'well above' market rates. Those who were fired can apply for the lower pay, company spokesman Bill Cimino said today. He declined to give the wages of the fired workers or the new hires."
Boy, they're a class act, aren't they? It doesn't seem to indicate whether they are also firing their highest-paid management people and replacing them with folks who are willing to work for less, though.

I am with you, Boycott Circuit City!!
We have got to start sticking together as Americans or the corporations will have us all in the poor house.
Boycott C.C. and drive them out of business as a message to the rest of them that we are tired of the corporate whores are destryoing our country.
I am sure they will be filling those Americans jobs with the cheap labor of illegal immigrants.
