back to something I know

Happy Birthday to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, also known as NASA, or by many idiots as "Nassau."

On this date in 1959 NASA was chartered by the government to lead the United States into space. They have had their ups and downs, but on the whole, the program has been one of the biggest successes of the U.S. government.

NASA now receives about fifteen and a half billion dollars a year from the government as its total operating budget.

The war in Iraq eats up that much money every two weeks.

Which one benefits America and humanity more?
