Park Service Can't Give Official Age Of Grand Canyon For Fear Of Offending Creationists...
Due to pressure from Bush Administration officials, the National Park Service is not permitted to give an official age for the Grand Canyon. Additionally, a book claiming the Grand Canyon was created by Noah's flood is for sale at the National Park's bookstore.

I think I've found a name for the new band...
On another note, while I'm certainly no fan of religion to begin with, you DO NOT want to get me started on the encroachment of religion in science. I don't come to their Sunday school classes and tell them what to think, although it would probably be a good idea if every science teacher in the United States did exactly that.
We have been contributors to the NPS for many years, as Jim's dad spend several summers as a park ranger in shenandoah when Jim was a child.
They don't get another penny out of us till they fix this one!
