Alan Simpson on Bill Maher

Does anybody have any idea what just happened? At the end of an incredibly Zell Miller-esque appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher," Alan Simpson, after being asked the question "don't you think that reason should take precedence over faith, that the Constitution is more important than the Bible when it comes to running the government?" responded with "that's your opinion."

This country is doomed if people like this stay in power.
