Rhodes Scholar?

I don't know which is more embarrassing, that Rachel Maddow said the two current but different height measurements of Mt. Everest by the countries that share it were 20,029 feet and 20,035 feet whereas the official GPS measurements by US experts showed Everest at 29,036 feet and that she either didn't notice the nine thousand foot discrepancy or did notice it but didn't think it incredibly unlikely and recognize it as a typo long before she went on the air with it. No matter which way you go, it doesn't speak well of the collective preparation and editing of the show to let something like that sneak through. MSNBC seems more like FOX every day.
