corollary

It looks like some time in the next week our Congress will vote on whether to provide basic medical care to the citizens of this country as a fundamental part of civil rights.

When you think about it, we are going to find out the answer to an important and largely unspoken question.

In a land where businesses can be pronounced "too big to fail" and receive enormous amounts of taxpayer-financed largesse to rescue them from their own malfeasance, are the country's political leaders going to take the official stance that our fellow citizens are "too small to matter?"
