I am not a vituperative person. I am almost impossible to offend or to anger. However, after watching Tony Snow's contemptuous dismissal of questions about Alberto Gonzales' perjury before Congress yesterday during today's White House press briefing, I have only one thing to say.

There's a point that, once crossed, makes somebody an active enemy of the Constitution and our representative government. Tony Snow has leapt over it of his own free will. I honestly hope his inevitable death from cancer makes Tammy Faye's agonizing passing look like any easy departure.
