good riddance
It's not my usual practice to speak ill of the departed, but some of them deserve it. The United States just became a slightly better country today.
Jerry Falwell is dead.
Jerry Falwell is dead.
He was a MUSICIAN, ASTRONOMER, EDUCATOR, CAT LOVER, ATHEIST, AND AMERICAN PATRIOT. Milo kept a lot of people thinking, learning and entertained for many years. He probably angered a few, too. No matter--he is sorely missed.

ding dong...
Sure wish Pat Robertson was at the pearly gates to greet him...
I guess you're bidding him a FOND FALWELL, huh?
Sorry...
Falwell is gone to Hell!
Probably just as well!
He raised way too much--
Condemning and such,
He'll love the sulfurous smell!
Perfect!
See, if we hated Christianity as much as Christians think we do, we'd be praising this clown. I think he did more to give Christianity a bad name than anyone I can think of since Savanarola!
Savanarola, good one! That's digging into the Dennis Miller bag of obscure references from the days back when he was funny.
...yeah...before he lost his marbles and went over to the dark side...
Doesn't everybody know about Savanarola?
Sorry, Ronni...no, not everyone does. You'd be suprised how many people still think that we went into Iraq because Sadam Hussein blew up the world trade center...
And of course, as fate would have it, I have run into TWO separate references to the Al Gonzales of the Inquisition in the last 48 hours.
